The levada walk from Rabacal is one of the most gorgeous adventures you can experience.
Rabaçal is a nature reserve parque and we start by walking to Risco waterfall and after a downhill climb to the lower levada from the 25 waterfalls (25 fontes) then on to this divine place with a stunning sound of all waterfalls. a break here for picnic and swimming if you wish. On the way back along the levada we still have the challenge of going threw a tunnel (800) and coming out on the south side of the island with breathtaking sea view. Walking a few minutes after the tunnel we reach the car park where our driver will be awaiting us. On the journey back a break for coffee or a beer is welcome.
